England’s first Soil Association-approved caterer!
It’s only awarded to suppliers who use fresh ingredients which are free from trans fats, harmful additives, GM, and are better for animal welfare.
The Soil Association’s Catering Mark was developed in response to the growing awareness of the link between good food, health and the environment, as well as the fact one third of calories are eaten when we’re out and about.
It guarantees that all our meat is from farms which satisfy UK welfare standards, all our eggs are from free-range happy hens and no fish is served from the (MCS) ‘fish to avoid’ list. It also means you can be sure that our menus are seasonal and we can provide for all your dietary needs.
But we’re not stopping there! Now we’re working to get the Soil Association Catering Mark silver accreditation, which will acknowledge the great work we already do in sourcing ethical, environmentally friendly and local ingredients. Watch this space!
