Fosters in Wonderland: #cheltlitfest 2015
With over 600 of the world’s finest writers, actors, politicians and poets, and a programme of nearly 500 debates, interviews and workshops. And for Fosters, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring works of fiction to life – over a few light bites of course!

This year, we were inspired by the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s whimsical classic; Alice in Wonderland. Our chefs created a series of culinary delights on Imperial Square serving themed treats. “Drink Me” and “Eat Me”, the treats dictated – and who could say no?
Guests were immersed in the madcap world of Lewis Carroll at Alice’s Eat Me Bake House, found in the Regency Café, which served up sandwiches, afternoon tea and daily signature bakes. While The Caterpillar Food Court offered a full range of hot food including pie & mash and a roasts at the weekend. And, for those who hopped down the rabbit hole to the Imperial Garden Bar and Mad Hatters Secret Garden, things got curiouser and curiouser. This topsy-turvy paradise served light bites, sharing boards and drinks with a side-serving of lunacy.

“Have I gone mad?”, you may well ask. “I’m afraid so. You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are”
