These are just examples of the stunning styles of
Wedding and Occasion cakes that our award winning Patissiere
is able to create to help make your day as memorable as
possible.
English Style
A rich moist fruit cake soaked with cognac, covered with
marzipan & either soft or royal icing in the colour of your
choice.
Strawberries & Cream
Light vanilla sponge with added Grand Marnier, layered
with crème Chantilly or crème au beurre and then surrounded
in a white chocolate shell. Topped with strawberries and
gilded with a hint of gold!
Chocolate style one
This cake just oozes chocolate. A moist Belgian
chocolate sacher torte with an apricot or chocolate filling.
Covered in a rich Belgian chocolate ganache, finished with
chocolate curls, strips or homemade chocolate truffles and a
dust of gold. The cake is then tiered in the Austrian style,
(without pillars).
Chocolate style two
A moist vanilla or chocolate sponge soaked in Grand
Marnier syrup, with scrolls or strips of white chocolate,
topped with seasonal fresh fruits. The choice is yours;
strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, redcurrants or
cherries.
Chocolate style three
This fabulous tiered creation is made with the cake of
your choice. It is presented in the Austrian style, with
strips of white chocolate & decorated with either fruit or
fresh flowers.
Chocolate style four
Rustic in style, this moist sponge is soaked in a light
framboise syrup. This cake can be presented on a stand or
tiered. With a coating of pure Belgian white chocolate and
decorated with fresh raspberries & delicate flowers with a
hint of glitter.
Belgian Chocolate Truffle
This rich Belgian truffle is truly scrumptious. It can
be topped with almost anything, roasted almonds, pecan nuts,
fresh flowers or berries. This cake cannot be presented with
pillars and is best presented in the Austrian style.
For an extra touch, your cakes can be flavoured with ginger,
orange or any spice of your choice. Please note that
traditional fruit cakes should ideally be booked at least 2
months in advance to allow time for the cakes to mature.
Croque en bouche
A centrepiece for your wedding. Light choux pastry
filled with a delicious Crème Diplomat flavoured with
Cognac, Cointreau or fresh vanilla. The profiteroles are
made into a cone using caramel and decorated with sugar
twists and fresh flowers, it makes an unusual and attractive
alternative to a traditional wedding cake.
This classic French dessert is often served as a replacement
for the pudding and will require sufficient portions for all
of your guests, as well as for the display. The dessert
price would be as per our menus with an additional fee of
£150 plus VAT
With the exception of the Croque en bouche, all of our cakes
can be round, square, tiered, on stands or stacked in the
Austrian style, and made with fruit, sacher, or sponge. For
an extra touch, your cake can be flavoured with ginger,
orange or any spice of your choice.
