Bristol Life Awards

Bristol Life HeaderIn April, we were honoured to be the chosen hospitality specialists for the launch of the Bristol Life Awards at Lloyds Amphitheatre on the Harbourside. To compliment a sell-out evening of glam and celebration we provided three courses of locally sourced and delicious food; bringing together Bristol’s people and businesses to celebrate what’s great about Bristol.

Bristol Life Awards Drinks Reception

Following a bubbly drinks reception, the glittering Brunel-esque golden arches were presented to hard-working teams from various business sectors. With twenty-one award categories from arts to technology there was certainly a lot to celebrate.

Homewood cheese feta and spring vegetable salad

The dinner for our 600 guests began with freshly baked baguette by Pinkman’s bakery and Lye Cross Farm salted butter. The starter was a Homewood Cheeses feta and spring vegetable salad, Bath Harvest rapeseed oil and lemon dressing.

Main course slow cooked spring lamb shoulder noissette

For the main course, there was a choice of two mouth-watering dishes. We served a succulent slow cooked spring lamb shoulder noissette, fondant potato, cauliflower purée and Wye Valley asparagus, Leigh Woods wild garlic, anchovy and caper salsa verde. Simultaneously, vegetarians were treated to Roast Cauliflower, curly kale and Wyfe of Bath parcel, fondant potato and Wye Valley asparagus, Leigh Woods wild garlic and caper salsa verde.

Dessert Harvey’s Bristol Cream, white chocolate, biscuit orange and raisinIn line with the theme of Bristol the diners received ‘THE CREAM OF BRISTOL PUDDING’ for dessert; a rich and heavenly dish of Harvey’s Bristol Cream, white chocolate, biscuit orange and raisin.

Hidden Gallery, one of the finalists for the Awards, tweeted following the evening. “Delicious food at last night’s event-so impressed- sleek operation from start to finish.”

We extremely enjoyed catering for the Bristol Life Awards and hope to return in 2018!
