Fork to Fosters: illustrated food map

Seasons of mist and mellow fruitfulness, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves Mr Keats!

At this time of year our pantries are fit to burst with the best of British produce. We have even been hitting the hedgerows for a spot of foraging…read all about our outdoor adventures next week. In the meantime we are celebrating some of our favourite suppliers and their produce, not just this season but throughout the year, in an illustrated food map.

We have been feeding friends, family and a host of wonderful clients for over 60 years, giving us plenty of time to perfect our food and, just as importantly, the sourcing of our ingredients. We work closely with our longstanding suppliers and we never compromise on quality or provenance. From the fish delivered daily from Brixham, to the Elmore Court quince in our homemade chutney, our talented chefs use only the finest, freshest, local and seasonal produce to design imaginative and tasty menus – perfect for any event.

You already know from our Soil Association accreditation that our ingredients are fresh, free from trans fats, harmful additives, GM, and are better for animal welfare. But where do our ingredients come from? Well, the very talented Hannah Bailey has brought 25 of our favourite suppliers across four counties to life in this beautifully illustrated food map. Our ongoing commitment to champion the best local produce within 30 miles of our kitchen can now be found right here. Enjoy!
